The New York Rangers are reeling, and Bruce Boudreau is the latest analyst to call them out.

The New York Rangers have traded former second overall pick Kaapo Kakko to the Seattle Kraken, as well as captain Jacob Trouba to the Anaheim Ducks over the past two weeks, amid difficulties in the locker room and on the ice.

Unfortunately, these moves have been inconsequential, and the team is still lost, with players like Mika Zibanejad and Artemi Panarin not living up to their contracts.

Bruce Boudreau has made his thoughts very clear on the Rangers' situation, and he believes moves are coming imminently after the holiday roster freeze:

"Oh, man, I got a big lump of coal and inside a bigger lump of coal here. But I'm going to start with the New York Rangers."

"You know what? After their 12-4 start, everything has gone wrong for this team, from trading their captain to moving another player the other day, Kakko, to sitting out Kreider, like, I mean, something's going to go so I got to believe something is happening with the New York Rangers."

"And I think after the break, it's really something's going to happen if they don't continue to start to win pretty soon. But hey, listen, that's inside a bigger lump of coal"

Players such as Chris Kreider and Ryan Lindgren could be on the move from New York, as the team looks for something new around their core of Adam Fox, Igor Shesterkin, and Alexis Lafreniere.

We will see if the Rangers can pull of a move in January; if they don't, it'll be telling.
