J.T. Miller's situation in Vancouver has been an intriguing one, and now his latest comments have led to the belief that a rift in the locker room has occurred, and it may be too much to keep this talented core together for much longer.

J.T. Miller's recent absence from the Vancouver Canucks was seemingly passed off as a break for his mental health, but now it appears things may not be what they initially seemed.

Since his return, reporters have been speculating on what really happened, with Elliotte Friedman nothing that something in the locker room may have sparked Miller's exit from the team.

That friction in the locker room may have plenty to do with Elias Pettersson, but now Miller's latest comments suggest potential friction with the front office in Vancouver as well.

During his latest media session, Miller was asked about the support he received from everyone, including the front office, and in his response, he mentioned his family and his teammates, while completely ignoring management.

This has led to increased speculation in Vancouver that a trade could be on the way, and with Miller's history of attitude issues in the locker room, the belief is that he could be the one on the way out.

However, Pettersson's play hasn't been at his highest level this season, and with the team still seeing success, a major decision may have to be made sometime in the near future in Vancouver.

Ultimately though, we know that the media for Canadian teams can be very overwhelming, and often they can look for stories where there simply isn't one, so while there's plenty of speculation now, it could potentially be smoothed over if everyone in Vancouver gets on the same page and makes a huge push this season.
