The New York Rangers are seemingly falling apart at the seams right now, and now veteran Vincent Trocheck has revealed the team's message after recent meetings.

As of late, it seems to be non-stop drama in New York hockey, with both the Rangers and Sabres falling apart over the last month, but given their expectations, it's the Rangers story that is most intriguing.

After all the drama, the team reportedly held a recent meeting, with the news coming out of that being that the team have discussed a way to remove Chris Drury from his role as General Manager.

However, that may not be the case after all, as veteran forward Vincent Trocheck has now clarified what happened at the meeting, revealing that neither Drury nor management as a whole was discussed.

«When we have closed-door meetings in here, it's about us. It's about what we can do. Obviously, we're in a little bit of a hole right now, and it's about what we can do to get out of it. It has nothing to do with management. They do their job. Chris is doing his job to try to put the best players on the ice to succeed. We are those players, and we have to go out there and preform. Do we what can to succeed. I just wanted to clear the air on that. Obviously there's a lot of stuff circulating our team right now and when I see something like that, I don't know where it even comes from. That kind of frustrated me.»

Given his role as a veteran leader on the team, it's no shock that Trocheck put the responsibility back on the team to turn things around, noting that they have the team to turn things around, they just need to get on the ice and start performing up to their capabilities.

This certainly doesn't take the pressure off Drury, as he may be forced to make another big move after trading away Kaapo Kakko, but for now, it's clear that the playing group is focused on turning things around.
