Philadelphia Flyers star Travis Konecny's house destroyed in massive fire: two injured

Last night a scary situation developed when Flyers forward Travis Konecny's house caught on fire which led to multiple injuries by the time the fire was put out.

Reports are coming in today that Travis Konecny's home in Haddonfield, New Jersey caught on fire last night. The Haddon Fire Company No. 1 responded and began to fight the fire. Several other fire companies including Cherry Hill and Westmont came to support fighting the fire that engulfed the entire 3 story structure.

Haddon Fire Company No. 1 was dispatched at 11:39 p.m. to the fire at 582 Jobel Dr. Arriving crews observed heavy fire from the first floor and heavy smoke coming from the second and third floors.

The fire was controlled just after midnight. When everything was settled it was discovered that two firefighters suffered burns that did not require hospitalization.

Crews placed the fire under control at 12:38 a.m. Wednesday, with help from nearby communities' fire departments. Two Cherry Hill firefighters sustained minor burns but didn't need hospital treatment.

With the fire now put out an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire. According to reports the Camden County Fire Marshal will be heading the investigation.

Thankfully the Konecny family and those who fought the fire are all safe and got out of this terrifying incident without major health problems. We wish the Konecny all the best as they recover from such a shocking life event.
