It appears as though one former Montreal Canadiens fan favourite player is hopping on the Patrik Laine bandwagon, and that's PK Subban who seems very excited.

P.K. Subban has had his fair share of spotlight moments with the Montreal Canadiens franchise, and it appears he is in the news once again even though he no longer plays in the NHL. This time, it's for his reaction regarding the Montreal Canadiens trading for Patrik Laine. Subban was seen sharing his excitement on an Instagram post.

The Canadiens just acquired Patrik Laine from the Columbus Blue Jackets for defenseman Jordan Harris, and it's got people in Montreal very excited. If Laine can remain healthy, the Habs finally have a pure goal scorer on their team, something they haven't had in the longest time.
Patrik Laine has played in 480 career NHL games and scored 204 goals for 388 points. The 2nd overall pick in the 2016 NHL draft is hoping for a major bounce back year with his new team.
PK Subban also had a fantastic career in the NHL that was sadly cut short due to injuries. He was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft with the 43rd overall pick, and went on to play in the NHL for 13 seasons, seven of those being with the Habs. In his 834 games, Subban has scored 115 goals and added 352 assists for 467 points. The stat that stands out the most is how he finished his career with 905 penalty minutes, proving that he always had a fire lit under his skates and never backed down from engaging in many memorable fights.
