Tragedy struck the junior hockey ranks in Canada recently, and now more is known about the tragic incident involving goaltender Creed Jones.

Yesterday, reports emerged of Gatineau Olympiques goaltender Creed Jones tragically passing away, which has left the entire hockey world, particularly in Canada in mourning. Now, in an updated article, a journalist has revealed the tragic events that led to the passing of the talented young goaltender.
«Former Oceanic goaltender, Creed Jones, tragically died at the age of 24 following a motorcycle accident on Friday night on Highway 417 in the Ottawa region. His host families in Rimouski are in shock.»

«According to the CBC, Jones was traveling westbound shortly before midnight. He reportedly collided with another motorcyclist, aged 27, in a ramp. He also died in the tragedy.»

According to Olivier Therriault, it was a late night motorcycle accident that not only led to the passing of Jones, but the other motorcyclist involved as well, a tragedy that has deeply effected Jones, the hockey world and especially his family and host families.
Jones was a goaltender in the QMJHL from 2017 to 2021, and was beloved by all whom he interacted with, so we continue to send our condolences to friends, family and former teammtaes.
