Tanner Jeannot traded to the Los Angeles Kings by Tampa Bay Lightning

The Tampa Bay Lightning acquired Tanner Jeannot for a massive package only two years ago, but has now traded him to the LA Kings.

Tanner Jeannot was acquired from the Nashville Predators by the Tampa Bay Lightning for several picks including a first round pick. they have now traded him to the Los Angeles Kings for the Kings' 2025 second round pick and pick 118 in this year's draft.

This comes just a few minutes after the Tampa Bay Lightning traded Mikhail Sergachev to the Utah Hockey Club.

Another trade: #GoBolts have moved Tanner Jeannot to #LAKings.

Jeannot was acquired in Tampa for a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and Cal Foote in 2023.

Kings had been considering Jeannot for some time

The LA Kings thus acquire one of the most intense forechecking bottom six players in the NHL, and the Tampa Bay Lightning gain valuable cap space for a potential Steven Stamkos extension.
