A new report confirmed that the Vegas Golden Knights are planning to let go of three players this offseason, including a 25-goal scorer.

In Vegas, big decisions are currently being made as they enter the offseason. They have six unrestricted agents to deal with, and general manager Kelly McCrimmon plans on taking some of his workload off his shoulders.

It's been announced that the team doesn't plan on signing three of them: Michael Amadio, William Carrier and Anthony Mantha. They're all aware of their situation and will look for new contracts on July 1st.

Mantha joined the Golden Knights at the last trade deadline for two draft picks. In 18 regular season games in Vegas, he scored 10 points, including three goals. In the playoffs, he tallied three goals in six games.

Carrier has been in Vegas since the beginning. He was selected in the expansion draft after being exposed by the Buffalo Sabres.

As for Amadio, the 28-year-old winger scored 27 points in 73 games this season, and will be remembered for his 10-point tally in the 2022-23 Stanley Cup run.

That leaves Jonathan Marchessault, Chandler Stephenson and Alec Martinez.

Martinez, 37, is on the end of the road and possibly not a priority for Vegas at the moment. He'll likely explore his options this summer.

Both Marchessault and Stephenson will be very interesting options on the market if the Golden Knights don't offer them a deal.

Updates will follow.
