As par for the course of a tough Eastern Conference matchup against the Panthers, several New York Rangers fans had to be escorted out of Amerant Bank Arena by Florida police for their rowdy behavior.

As much as the competition wages between the players on the ice, the stands of every arena watching a playoff game can be filled with just as much intensity. As a result of this tension, crowds become rowdy more often than some personnel and fans appreciate. This was the case last night after one New York Rangers fan had to be escorted out by the Florida police.
"Guy enjoys his ice cream while rangers fans get kicked out of the game last night in Florida #nyr #timetohunt"
This Rangers supporter had apparently been an issue among the Florida Panthers fans in the stadium for some time. As soon as the policeman forced the man and his son up the stairs to leave the arena, the crowd cheered and serenaded the two out.
"Cop kicks out unruly #NYR fan. New York fan gets serenaded on his way out of the building. #TimeToHunt"
According to someone in the stadium during the incident, this Rangers fan was not simply being a loudmouth and antagonizing Panthers fans. Apparently, this character took the smack talk several steps too far. On top of his general annoying bravado, he made antisemitic comments and threatened a Jewish fan wearing a yarmulke.
"NO he threatened a guy wearing a Jewish yarmulke and made threatening comments to him.
Typical NYR trash we get down here. "
Luckily for all the Florida fans who had to endure this man's offensive epithets, the Panthers were able to tie the series 2-2 after Sam Reinhart scored the overtime goal with nearly 19 minutes left on the clock.
"SAM REINHART WINS GAME 4 FOR THE PANTHERS IN OVERTIME!

The New York Rangers will play game 5 against the Florida Panthers tomorrow evening in Madison Square Garden. If the Rangers want to get back ahead in the series, they will have to clean up their game, and their fans even more so.
