The Dallas Stars' defenseman Chris Tanev could miss the crucial game five against the Edmonton Oilers after suffering an injury in game four last night.

In Edmonton, fans couldn't have been happier with how Wednesday night's game went. After two back-to-back goals from the Stars, the Oilers bounced back and scored five unanswered goals to earn the victory.
With the series tied at 2, and both teams flying back to Dallas for game 5, the rest of the games between them promise to be very entertaining.
Fans of the Oilers, rejoice; the good news doesn't stop there.
The Stars' defenseman Chris Tanev had to leave the game, visibly injured from blocking a shot.
If you watched the game, you know how important Tanev is to the Stars' defensive unit. He's been a rock in the playoffs, stopping most of his opponents' best players from scoring.
While his status for game 5 remains unknown, it's important to remember that many players play through injuries in the playoffs. A guy like Tanev will probably do the same if he's able to.
After game 4, the Stars' coach, Peter DeBoer, said he has his fingers crossed that Tanev can play the next game:
"#TexasHockey coach Pete DeBoer says 'fingers crossed' that Chris Tanev will be available for game 5. Tanev left the game midway through the second after blocking an Evander Kane shot with his right foot. #Oilers"
Updates will follow.
