Sheldon Keefe was hired by the New Jersey Devils only two weeks after being fired by the Toronto Maple Leafs. His media tour has now begun, and it is hilarious to watch.

The New Jersey Devils made a long awaited move for a concrete coach after firing Lindy Ruff earlier in the 2023-24 season. Sheldon Keefe, who was fired after the Toronto Maple Leafs lost in the first round to the Boston Bruins, took the job and seems like a great fit for their group of stars, including Nico Hischier, Jack Hughes, Jesper Bratt, and Dougie Hamilton.
Now, Sheldon Keefe has revealed hilarious information, which he heard from other well respected coaches in the NHL, expressing notably that the Toronto Maple Leafs and their market are not ‘the real NHL'.
Sheldon Keefe says that it was a tremendous honour to coach the Toronto Maple Leafs, but that he has had numerous well-established NHL coaches congratulate him on leaving the market

We love this new fun side of Sheldon Keefe!
