The New Jersey Devils made a long awaited move for a concrete coach after firing Lindy Ruff earlier in the 2023-24 season. Sheldon Keefe, who was fired after the Toronto Maple Leafs lost in the first round to the Boston Bruins, took the job and seems like a great fit for their group of stars, including Nico Hischier, Jack Hughes, Jesper Bratt, and Dougie Hamilton.
Now, Sheldon Keefe has revealed hilarious information, which he heard from other well respected coaches in the NHL, expressing notably that the Toronto Maple Leafs and their market are not 'the real NHL'.
