If one thing has been confirmed in the Toronto Maple Leafs' series against the Boston Bruins, it's that Mitch Marner is not a playoff performer.

As the Toronto Maple Leafs have begun to unravel in front of our very eyes, with Auston Matthews succumbing to an illness, William Nylander having just returned from an injury, John Tavares being entirely a non-factor, and most importantly, Mitch Marner proving himself as a soft and mostly useless player, things need to change.

Sheldon Keefe is making major coaching mistakes, such as icing his fourth line and third defensive pairing in the dying minutes of a two-goal deficit, and the additions Brad Treliving made, notably Ryan Reaves, Ilya Lyubushkin, and Joel Edmundson, look absolutely terrible.

With all this in mind, the Leafs are set to make a major change this summer, and with Auston Matthews and William Nylander both locked up on long-term deals, and John Tavares likely unmovable on his $11-million contract, it appears Mitch Marner is the odd man out.

A game-changing proposal has emerged, trading Marner for Vezina finalist goaltender Ilya Sorokin of the New York Islanders. Sorokin has hit many obstacles, even losing his starting role to Semyon Varlamov, and his value is at an all time low.

Marner (with an extension) for Sorokin?

Who do you think would win this deal?
