Kyle Clifford may no longer be an NHL regular, but he still plays professional hockey, for the Toronto Maple Leafs' AHL affiliate, the Marlies.

In a playoff series against their rivals, the Ottawa Senators' affiliate Belleville Senators, Clifford, who wears an alternate captain's 'A' for the team, opted to disgustingly break the hockey code and jump Bokondji Imama in the handshake line.

Imama, who has been in and out as a fringe NHLer for a few years but has spent most of his time in the AHL was the victim of Clifford's decision, but luckily referees got in the way quickly.

You can watch as Clifford is dragged away while the rest of the players continue one of hockey's most sacred traditions, the handshake line.

Respect the handshake line.

Kyle Clifford went after Boko Imama in the handshake line for the Calder Cup playoffs.

Now that the Toronto Marlies have been eliminated from the playoffs, eyes will turn to the NHL's Maple Leafs, who are on the verge of elimination to the Boston Bruins.

At least they stay consistently a joke across all Toronto organizations.
