There are so many interesting stats to pull from the New York Rangers huge 9-0 win over the Philadelphia Flyers Wednesday night that it's hard to know where to start. Mika Zibanejad is as good a place as any as the Swede absolutely dominated the second period of the game with three goals and three assists in that 20 minute span.

Those six points set a Rangers' franchise record for most in a period. It also ties an NHL record for most points in a period set by Bryan Trottier all the way back in 1978.

The Rangers became just the eighth team in the last 25 years to score nine goals through two periods of a game.

The Flyers also tied some history during the game, although it's not the kind of record you want. Philippe Myers and Travis Sanheim matched the record for the worst single-game plus-minus in Philly history at minus-6.

Anson Carter of the NHL Network commented that the score looked more like the leaderboard for The Masters rather than an NHL hockey game. You can see all the highlights from the huge win, or massive loss depending on how you look at it, below.
