We find ourselves under a month away from the NHL's trade deadline and once again, we have a familiar face taking a familiar action that has stirred up his fans, leaving them guessing as to what the action means.

As many may recall, when forward Max Domi was approaching free agency in Montreal, he removed his affiliation with the Canadiens from his social media accounts shortly before he had been traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets in the Josh Anderson deal.

The 26-year-old has done it again, removing the Columbus Blue Jackets from his Instagram bio on Tuesday, and fans have since taken to social media suggesting that a trade must be near, and they could be right.

After a slow start in Columbus which saw Domi relegated to a fourth line role at times, he has picked up his production in the last week, scoring 4 points in 3 games after going pointless in his previous 9 contests. Domi has racked up just 11 points through 30 games with the Jackets this season.

This fit just hasn't been good for Max in Columbus, and he is still relatively young and is not too far removed from a 70 point season, tallying 72 points in 82 games for the Canadiens in 2018-19.

Domi signed a 2-year, $10.6M deal with Columbus shortly after being acquired by the Blue Jackets in the offseason.
