The Montreal Canadiens appear to have another elite level prospect in Chicago Steel forward Sean Farrell. In today's 5-1 win over Des Moines, Farrell recorded three assists, and set the record for longest single-season point streak in USHL history at 24 games.

Farrell leads the USHL in scoring with 55 points (18 G, 37 A) in 27 games. He is currently on pace to smash his point total from the 2019-20 season. In 44 games last season, he tallied 56 points (15 G, 41 A), leading the entire USHL in assists as a rookie.

Farrell, 19, was drafted in the fourth round, 124th overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. He was originally set to join Harvard University for the 2020-21 campaign, before their season was cancelled due to COVID-19, and will instead join them for the 2021-22 season.

The Hopkinton, Massachusetts native has represented the United States on a couple of occasions, most recently at the 2019 World Junior 'A' Challenge. In 6 games, he had 8 points (5 G, 3 A), and 4 penalty minutes as the United States finished third by defeating the Czech Republic in the Bronze Medal Game.
