A few minutes ago, it was confirmed that a former top-10 pick officially signed a professional contract, nearly 10 years after a medical condition forced him to retire.

Cody Hodgson Signs PTO in the AHL

Cody Hodgson, 33, signed a professional tryout contract with the Milwaukee Admirals in the AHL.
Drafted 10th overall by the Vancouver Canucks in 2008, the forward from Toronto played 328 games in the NHL for the Canucks, Sabres and Predators between 2010 and 2016. During that time, he scored 142 points, including 64 goals.
