Big-hitting player Radko Gudas frequently straddles the line between clean and dirty plays. Since being a member of the Florida Panthers, he has made some improvements to his performance and persona. Gudas is regarded as a fighter who plays hard and defends his teammates

Detroit Red Wings versus Anaheim Ducks turns nasty

The first period was not pretty as there were two dirty plays that had a lot of social media attention. Dylan Larkin received a rough crosscheck from Mason McTavish in the back, but but was only a two-minute penalty. Lucas Raymond and Gudas starred in the night's most contentious play.
The Play everyone is talking about:

It also ended up as a two minute penalty.
It is clear Detroit fans were not happy with Gudas.
Gudas's suspension is uncertain since, to put it mildly, NHL Player Safety no longer seems to care about suspending many players.

Gudas' history with suspensions and recent signings

Gudas signed as a free agent with the Anaheim Ducks following three years with the Florida Panthers, which included the team's incredible journey to the playoffs last year. In order to lead from the back end and safeguard the young players on the Ducks, he inked a three-year, $12 million contract.
Gudas has been suspended four times in his career. Most recently it was two games for high-sticking Tampa's Nikita Kucherov in February 2019). Before that he was suspended 10 games for slashing the neck of Winnipeg's Mathieu Perreault in November 2017. In the 2016 preseason he was suspended six NHL games for a hit to Austin Czarnik. Finally, Gudas' first suspension was three games for a headshot to Mika Zibanejad in December 2015). Could this new play be his fifth career suspension?
