We are very far removed from Washington Capitals star Evgeny Kuznetsov near points per game season. Now he is a liability and he's making over $7 million annually.
It's no secret that he wants to be traded, and that the Washington Capitals would love to move him. Thus rumours are now sparking that is done in Washington and he will be traded in the off-season.
Due to his expensive cost, the Washington Capitals can't expect too much in return, unless they retain significant salary.
