Calgary Flames' Huberdeau Gets Emotional after Getting Benched

Huberdeau, who is on year one of an eight year deal that carries a cap hit of $10.5 million, has two goals and four assists in 12 games, and it a minus-12. This isn't his first benching this season, and won't be his last if this play continues. Before the 2023-24 season began, Huberdeau said he was expecting a return to form this season, and indicated the problem last year was now former Flames coach Darryl Sutter.
