The NHL Department of Player Safety has just announced that forward Arthur Kaliyev has been suspended two games.

The first suspension of the season has been given. Kings forward Arthur Kaliyev will be sidelined for two games due to a kneeing incident.
This suspension will knock him out for the rest of the pre-season, but he will be ready for the regular season.
