Jonathan Huberdeau got caught in a collision and he clearly got the worse heading to the dressing room.

Huberdeau Injured In Preseason

Teams are currently preparing for the 2023-24 season by playing preseason games and we are getting some entertaining hockey. Between many fights and gorgeous goals, it has been nice to get hockey back.

However, Flames fans are currently worried as Jonathan Huberdeau, the focal point of the Matthew Tkachuk return, has headed to the dressing room after a knee-on-knee collision.

Jonathan Huberdeau went to the dressing room after this knee on knee hit with Matt Irwin.

The Flames need Huberdeau this season because if they do not make the playoffs, they will be entering a rebuild without their 2025 first-round pick. Having missed the playoffs last year, it is clear that they need something to change in the team.

If Huberdeau were to rebound from his 55-point season back to his 115-point form, then the Flames have a solid chance of making the playoffs and even potentially winning the Pacific Division.
