Sabres, Reinhart avoid arbitration with new deal
Restricted free agent Sam Reinhart will no longer require an arbitration hearing with the Buffalo Sabres. The 24-year-old has signed a new one-year deal with Buffalo worth $5.2 million.
Reinhart was a second overall pick of the Sabres back in 2014. His best season came in 2018-19 when he recorded 22 goals and 65 points in 82 games. He matched his best goal total of 22 last season in just 69 games and recorded a total of 50 points. He's finished in the top three in scoring for Buffalo the lat five seasons.
Reinhart's arbitration hearing was scheduled to take place this coming Tuesday.
