After two decades floating around the NHL between Pittsburgh, Vegas, Chicago and now Minnesota, it appears time for the next journey in Marc-Andre Fleury's career, with Montreal named as a potential destination.

With Filip Gustavsson taking over the starting role for a cash-strapped Minnesota Wild team, it makes sense for them to look at other options for Fleury, who has been a solid veteran starter for the past few years for them.

With many teams out there needing goaltending, House of Hockey have taken their turn at a mock trade that would send Fluery to his home-town of Montreal, Quebec.

The trade

After the buyouts of Zach Parise and Ryan Suter, the Wild need another veteran forward, and find themselves strapped for cash, so this trade would see them move Fleury, a top pick and prospect Caden Bankier for Josh Anderson and goaltender Cayden Primeau.

MOCK TRADE:

Minnesota Receives:
Josh Anderson
Cayden Primeau

Montréal Receives

It's a trade that makes sense for all involved, as this young Canadiens team could use a veteran, as well as sending Fleury home after an illustrious career, so it would be interesting to see these two teams link up.
