Rangers forward Artemi Panarin had his head shaved bald recently due to ‘extreme evil & negative energy' that was in his hair, according to those close to him.
Panarin decided to make the change after the Rangers were eliminated in round one, as he wants to enter a new era in his quest for a Stanley Cup.

This 'extreme evil and negative energy' can be summed out to a couple of things, one of which is likely the tension in Russia. While he may look a little different, hopefully he is still the same superstar player that commands the third highest salary in the league.
