Veleno Tries To Injure Neiderreiter
With the NHL season being over for 28 teams, many players have gone to represent their home nations at the IIHF world championship.
Two of these players are Red Wings forward Joe Veleno and Jets forward Nino Neiderreiter.
Neiderreiter, who captains Switzerland, was in a board battle with Veleno who represents Canada.
In this scrum, Veleno did something so dirty the announcers described as «beyond dirty»
It is clear that this type of play has no place in hockey and it is unfortunate that Neiderreiter received a penalty for retaliating.
