The Tampa Bay Lightning, as previous Stanley Cup champions, knew how important Game 4 of their best-of-seven series against the Toronto Maple Leafs was tonight.
Lightning in Control
From the moment the puck dropped at Amalie Arena, the Lightning took control of the game, aiming to tie the series 2-2 before heading back to Toronto for Game 5.
In the final moments of the second period, Hockey Analyst Darren Pang interviewed Lightning coach Jon Cooper, who took a jab at the Leafs' compete level by saying:
"You know were 4 in a half minutes left in the period they got three shots and they had a power play. We can continue to do that and win our battles will be alright.»
Pang would then ask Cooper:
«Are you saying I can be in net then?»
Cooper was left speechless, so Pang ended the interview:
I'll leave it at that.
Leafs fans got to be feeling the not again feeling as they have the golden opportunity to take a 3-1 series lead heading home but it's looking like that won't be the case.
