Earlier today, there was a major shakeup in the Pittsburgh Penguins front office that saw general manager Ron Hextall along with President of Hockey Operations lose their jobs.

Just hours later, as reported by Rob Rossi of the Athletic, Burke already has his next job lined up.

Burke who has at times throughout his career been a broadcaster is expected to return to the role with Canadian company Sportsnet, who have the rights to the NHL playoffs.

Say what you will about Burke and his hockey takes, but he never stays down for too long after losing jobs, always able to read when his time with an organization is coming to an end, he always seems to have another job lined up.

Burke was the President of Hockey Operations for the Pittsburgh Penguins for just over two years and at 67, he doesn't appear to be slowing down anytime soon.
