The cornerstone of the modern era Chicago Blackhawks played his last game in Chicago last night. I'm of course talking about captain Jonathan Toews, but he didn't leave without doing one last amazing thing.

Of course, media and fans alike came out in droves to show their support for their longtime captain, but in the crowd were also youth hockey players of the Chicago area that Toews had donated tickets to so they could watch him play his final game.

Say what you will about Toews leaving Chicago this way, wether you like the way he's ending his Chicago tenure or not, he leaves giving back to the only city and community he's known in the NHL.

While his future in the NHL remains unclear, last night was about the fans giving back to Toews the way he's given back to the fans for the last 15 years, and that, is something special
