There's always been something magical about the Canadiens playing in Montreal, with the sheer will of their diehard fanbase propelling their team to win some nights. Tonight, the magic of Montreal hockey seemed to be directed at their prospect Sean Farrell in his first game.

Farrell, a fourth round pick of the Habs in 2020, recently signed an entry level deal with the team after the conclusion of his season with Harvard in the ECAC. With 20 goals and 53 points in 34 games, Darrell's debut was highly anticipated - and he delivered early.

On his first shift, Farrell simply skated down the wing, fired a shot on goal, and luckily for him, Panthers' goalie Alex Lyon let in a brutal goal.

For Sean Farrell and the Habs, the goal is a miracle stroke of luck typical of Montreal. For the Panthers, it's an atrocious goal allowed to a basement team while your team is desperate for points. As usual for Montreal though, watch for Farrell to score the game winning goal in overtime.
