Paul Bissonnette and the crew at TNT have done an amazing job of growing the game through their informative and entertaining broadcasts. Last night was absolutely no different.

During last night's game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Colorado Avalanche, Bissonnette was conducting an interview with Avalanche defender Jack Johnson. While speaking Biznasty asked permission to share the story of the time that Johnson and Sidney Crosby were both kicked off of the team's high school baseball team after engaging in a fight.
According to Bissonnette, during the game Johnson was at the plate and was brushed back on multiple pitches. At the time Crosby was waiting in the on deck circle when Johnson was finally struck by the pitcher. The hit by pitch eventually led to Johnson charging the mound and striking both the pitcher and 1st baseman, while Crosby handled the team's catcher.
The next day both players found themselves kicked off of the high school team and they were forced to turn in their uniforms.
Luckily for both players, who were forced to join a summer sport, it looks like things worked out for both men. Both Crosby and Johnson now have Stanley Cup Rings, and who knows where they'd be if they'd have not been kicked off the team. Crosby especially has shown he still possesses that home run power he did as a kid.
