The National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced a pair of fines on Tuesday afternoon for two separate incidents in Monday's game between the Dallas Stars and Vancouver Canucks.

The first incident in question involved Dallas Stars defenceman Colin Miller, who was given a $5,000 fine for elbowing Vancouver Canucks forward Nils Aman. No penalty was called on the play.

As for the second incident, Canucks defenceman Christian Wolanin was slapped with a $2,027.03 fine for slashing Stars forward Ty Dellandrea. No penalty was called on this play, as well.

Monday's high-scoring affair saw the Vancouver Canucks take the two points in overtime on a goal by rookie forward Andrei Kuzmenko. The two team will meet twice more before the end of the season, with the next game coming on March 14th in Dallas.
