Elias Pettersson reacts to teammate enjoying a mid-game snack and beverage on the bench (video)

It's not necessarily uncommon for hockey players to try to jolt their energy levels during an NHL game. Several have been known to drink Cokes on the bench. Andrei Kuzmenko of the Vancouver Canucks decided to have a mid-game snack and beverage on the bench during his team's Saturday night game against the Philadelphia Flyers and got a hilarious reaction from a teammate.

Close to the middle of the second period, Kuzmenko asked for and received a banana and a Coke while sitting in the bench. While he's eating it, teammate Elias Pettersson kind of gives him an odd look. Kuzmenko says something to him with a smile, and Pettersson just shook his head.

Kuzmenko did manage to score a goal in the game so it must have helped. Pettersson, on the other hand, scored two goals and three assists for his team in a 6-2 drubbing of the Flyers.
