The NHL's All-Star festivities are less than a month away, and the initial list of 32 players (one from each team) has been released. There were more than a few snubs, which is only natural, given that each club possesses more than one 'All-Star' calibre player. Well, most teams, anyway.

For the Philadelphia Flyers, Kevin Hayes was selected as an all-star. One Philadelphia reporter asked head coach John Tortorella his thoughts on the 'snub' of Flyers forward Travis Konecny.

"I really don't care," Torts answered. "That whole weekend, I don't even watch it...I don't give a s--t."

This should come as a surprise to precisely nobody, as Tortorella cares about one thing - and one thing only: winning hockey games. Not that the Flyers are doing much of that this season.

15-17-7, the Flyers sit ahead of only the Columbus Blue Jackets in the Metropolitan Division and aren't expected to see any real improvement. Frankly, they are likely overachieving under Tortorella. A top draft pick likely awaits the Flyers this summer.
