The Seattle Kraken have been one of the biggest surprises this season. They currently sit third in the NHL's Pacific Division with a record of 18-10-4 through 32 games.
With the Kraken seeking their first-ever appearance in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, they're reportedly looking to add to their roster ahead of the NHL's trade deadline on March 3rd.
Seattle currently has $2 million in cap space, but that is expected to surpass $5.1 million by March 3rd, according to David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period. They're currently two points back of Los Angeles for second in the division and have four games in hand on the Kings, which definitely will benefit the Kraken.
The Kraken's offense is leading the way for the team, while their play defensively needs some help, possibly via trade before the deadline. Seattle is sixth in the NHL for goals-per-game with 3.48, while they are 17th for goals against-per-game at 3.16.
Should the Seattle Kraken look to add to their roster for a playoff push or should Ron Francis stay the course? Let us know in the poll below!
