The National Hockey League announced on Friday morning that Detroit Red Wings forward Jakub Vrana has been reinstated after a nearly two-month stint in the Player Assistance Program.

In a statement the NHL said, " The National Hockey League and National Hockey League Players' Association announced today that Detroit Red Wings forward Jakub Vrana has been returned to available status and has entered the follow-up care phase of the NHL/NHLPA player assistance program.

Vrana's care continues to be administered pursuant to the player assistance program."

The 26-year-old entered the NHL/NHLPA Player Assistance Program on October 19th after appearing in two games for the Red Wings. In those two games, Vrana has two points (one goal, one assist), no penalty minutes and is a plus-one.

Vrana returned to Detroit's practice on Friday, but since he hasn't played in two months, it's unclear if the Prague (Czechia) native will be in the lineup on Saturday afternoon against the Ottawa Senators.
