The Toronto Maple Leafs have been on an absolute tear over the last month and have not lost in regulation since November 11th against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

In that time, the Maple Leafs have gone 11-0-3 and have plenty of players to thank for that including Mitch Marner, who's on a 22-game point streak, Auston Matthews as well as the goaltending tandem of Matt Murray and Ilya Samsonov.

But one player that has gone under the radar during the team's 14-game point streak is William Nylander, who had an extremely strong performance on Saturday night.

During their 5-4 overtime win against the Flames, Nylander had five points (two goals, three assists) and his teammates, as well as Sheldon Keefe, were full of praise for him following the game.

"Last season, (Nylander) set a new standard for himself. He's got a long ways to go still in terms of what his potential is and what he can do," Keefe said. "You're seeing that. He's producing at a higher clip, he's been very consistent to start the season here."

He added, "To me, I think Willy can and should be in that top, elite tier of players in the league. He's working his way there."

Nylander and the Maple Leafs will look to extend their point streak to 15 games when they host the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday night at Scotiabank Arena.
