Mark Giordano & Michael Bunting Defend Auston Matthews From Frustrated Flyers (VIDEO)

Torts wasn't the only frustrated Flyer in this game, as the team in orange wasn't about to go down without a fight. Travis Konecny and Auston Matthews were jawing back & forth before the former jumped last year's Rocket Richard-winner. Matthews' teammates were not about to let that type of behavior stand.

I love how Matthews did next to nothing this whole time and then doubled back to give the smaller Konecny a shove for good measure. He knows full well any of his teammates would stand in for him, so he doesn't care. Rockstar.

Great look for Giordano and Bunting, though. This team sits smack-dab in the middle of the most intense media circuit of any sports market, so being able to count on one another is absolutely critical for this Leafs team. And this win was massive, to boot.
