The Seattle Kraken face the Buffalo Sabres tonight, and by the looks of it Shane Wright and Ryan Donato will be healthy scratches. According to Geoff Baker of The Seattle Times, neither Donato nor Wright partook in line rushes today, suggesting both will sit.

In 5 NHL games, Wright has an assist and a plus-2 rating. Donato has just a goal and an assist in six games this season.
Seattle has gotten off to another rough start, going 2-3-2 through their first seven. Head coach Dave Hakstol cannot be happy with the results, despite solid play up and down the lineup.
Perhaps this will be a good thing for Wright too, as he has much to do in the way of development. If this persists, however, one has to wonder whether or not a stint in the OHL might be good for him, at the risk of sicking the memes on this kid.
