The Minnesota Wild are only two games into their 2022-23 season and frustration is beginning to mount, especially from veteran forward Mats Zuccarello.

The Wild are currently tied with the Blue Jackets, Kings and Sharks for most goals allowed, but the difference is, Minnesota has only played twice, while the other teams have played three or four times. Minnesota is also the first team since the 1988 Chicago Blackhawks to allow seven goals in each of their first two games of a new season.

With the Wild giving up seven goals in each of their first two games, Zuccarello put it pretty blunt post-game on Saturday, saying that they're playing defence like a junior team.

"You can't expect to win games when you let in 14 goals in two games," forward Mats Zuccarello said after Saturday's loss, per The Athletic's Michael Russo. "Sometimes we play defense like we're a f*cking junior team. It's the whole team. We've got to sharpen up."

Again, it's very early in the season and there's no doubt that the Wild will be able to bounce back and they'll have their first chance to do so on Monday night, when they host the defending Stanley Cup champion Colorado Avalanche to town.
