Pittsburgh Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin has even more reasons to put up offense this season.

The future Hall-of-Famer has announced that he will be donating $710 to the Ronald McDonald House for each point he puts up this season as part of the "I'm Score for Kids" initiative. The idea behind the $710 was inspired by his jersey No. 71.

I'm trying to be nice,» Malkin said of his act. «I've played here, like, 17 years, you know? It's my second hometown. I try to, like, say thank you to the fans, say thank you to the kids and help.

So far, so good for Malkin and the Ronald McDonald House this season, as the 36-year-old scored in his first game of the season versus the Arizona Coyotes on Thursday night. Though he may not be the same player he was earlier in his career, he remains one of the game's most exciting offensive talents and should hover around the point per game mark in 2022-23.
