Stan Bowman's time as GM is like the wildest roller coaster ever. Hired in 2009, Bowman led the Chicago Blackhawks through three Stanley Cups, two gigantic sexual assault scandals, a few great moves, and several terrible moves.

The Blackhawks' organization is in shambles after the fallout from the 2010 scandal and Stan Bowman's departure. Between then and now, the club has felt the sting of Bowman's managerial blunders, and today they were hit yet again.

Today, the Blackhawks waived defenseman Nicolas Beaudin, the club's 2018 first-round pick. Beaudin has played in 22 games for the Hawks, scoring just 6 points; the AHL hasn't been fruitful either, scoring just 41 points in 134 games.

Another draft pick by Bowman that did not pan out for the Blackhawks. Though, that is not that worst part of this ordeal. The player for whom the Blackhawks acquired that first-round pick was Ryan Hartman; who scored 31 goals last season for the Minnesota Wild.

An awful trade in hindsight, Bowman had a knack for making bad deals that received a ton of coverage. Other players to be dealt by Bowman include Teuvo Teravainen (CAR), Artemi Panarin (NYR), Phillip Danault (LAK), and Anthony Duclair (FLA).

Bowman's time in Chicago was ultimately a colossal failure. Which is an insane achievement, considering the guy won three Stanley Cups during his tenure. However, the scandal that ultimately led to his dismissal plus all the terrible moves he made wash out any positives he may have had during his time as GM.
