It has been known for a little while now that the Edmonton Oilers will be resurrecting their Todd McFarlane uniforms for the Reverse Retro 2.0 series this season.

A little more information regarding the colour scheme of the new uniform leaked a few weeks ago, but on Tuesday, Edmonton radio host Tom Gazzola leaked an image of the actual jersey on his Twitter account.

The main colour of the jersey is navy, like the original one worn from 2001-2007. Instead of silver, the jersey will include orange striping and the oil drop in the logo will be orange instead of navy. As was the case with the Vancouver Canucks leaked jersey in late-August, the NHL shield on the uniform is re-coloured orange, similar to the one the league used from 1946 to 2005.

Last week, Neil, from the YouTube account Post2Post Productions revealed that his sources have told him that the Reverse Retro 2.0 series will be fully unveiled on October 20th, with teasers coming from all 32 teams on October 19th.

Stay tuned to Markerzone.com next month for full coverage of the launch of the new Reverse Retro jerseys!
