The Buffalo Sabres announced on Tuesday that they've agreed to terms on a one-year contract worth $1.7 million with pending unrestricted free agent forward Vinnie Hinostroza.

Hinostroza, 28, appeared in 62 games this season for the Sabres where he recorded 25 points (thirteen goals, twelve assists), 24 penalty minutes and was a minus-eleven.

With Hinostroza now locked up, the Sabres have a total of fifteen players that are set to hit the open market at 12 p.m. ET on Wednesday. Those players are: Cody Eakin, John Hayden, Will Butcher, Colin Miller, Mark Pysyk, Dustin Tokarski, Drake Caggiula, Malcolm Subban, Mark Jankowski, Ryan MacInnis, Brandon Davidson, Ethan Prow, Jimmy Schuldt, Aaron Dell and Michael Houser.

Three goaltenders are set to become UFA's tomorrow, so there's a very good change the Sabres make a push to find at least a backup to form a 1A-1B tandem with Craig Anderson.
