If you win the Stanley Cup, you party hard. That's pretty much part of the deal. And Kurtis MacDermid of the Colorado Avalanche was taking that to heart during a celebration Thursday night.

While MacDermid didn't play in the postseason for the Avs, he suited up in 58 games in the regular season, more than enough to get his name on the Stanley Cup. So, MacDermid is a Cup champion, and while celebrating with his teammates Thursday, he sure looked like one, too, needing help after lifting hockey's greatest prize over his head and completely losing his balance.

I'm assuming MacDermid was fine. He likely wasn't feeling much pain from anything at the time. As for the Stanley Cup, it has taken a beating since Colorado won it over the Tampa Bay Lightning, getting a good dent just minutes after being brought to the ice. It's not a huge deal as the one MacDermid was holding is likely a replica anyway. MacDermid likely wasn't feeling that great on Friday, but that has little to do with this fall.
