A Twitter thread from TSN Edmonton's Ryan Richaug appears to show at least two Crypto.com Arena staff refuse the Oilers nets & lights for their practice. Per Richaug, the Oilers' practice was scheduled for 11: 30a local time; players started creeping onto the ice around 11:10a.

The videos show the players skating laps & stretching, while the crew members clutch the goals like grandmother's pearls. Take a look:

After players & coaches asked the staff to forfeit the nets, Assistant Coach Dave Manson tried to speed things up but as if under order, the staff refused to set the ice up until the Oilers' scheduled time:

It became quite clear that the staff wasn't willing to accommodate the Away team before their official practice time of 11:30a. As Richaug mentions at 11:20a when the players were all on the ice & coaches ready, the staff wouldn't budge until the allotted time. And everyone knows if you step on the ice when practice starts, you're ten minutes late. So for the staff of the Kings' home ice to pull this is obviously very petty. But...

That's playoffs, for you. Any tactical edge whatsoever.

Does this cross some sort of line, or is it fair game?
