Ben Meyers might not be a name some people have heard of. The 23-year-old left winger is an undrafted free agent and currently is in his final year at the University of Minnesota, where he captains the team.

Meyers also had the opportunity to represent the United States at the 2022 Winter Olympics in China. He played quite well at the Olympics, recording four points (two goals, two assists) in four games.

According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, at least three teams are pursuing the Delano (Minnesota) native.

"Detroit, Minnesota and Philadelphia are believed to be among the heaviest pursuers for free-agent Ben Meyers at the University of Minnesota. Still has a Frozen Four to play, though," Friedman said in his '32 Thoughts' article.

In 33 games this season for the University of Michigan, Meyers has 41 points (17 goals, 24 assists), 18 penalty minutes, and is a +18.
