It's not often you see a hockey referee really tell a player off during a game. Swedish referee Marcus Vinnerborg had apparently had enough, though during a playoff game in the GET League in Norway. According to reports, 21-year-old Håvard Salsten of Sparta Sarpsborg had been agitating members of Stavanger all night. Salsten was the third man in when a scuffle broke out between two other players, and Vinnerborg lost his patience. He started yelling at Salsten in Danish. Here's the translation:
"Come here! What don't you get? What don't you understand? Stop it!"
"Next time you're on the ice, Salsten, we need some fucking order! It's not junior hockey anymore. Oh my God!"
While Salsten avoided a match penalty, five other players in the game were sent to the showers early with game misconducts.
