The Boston Bruins announced on Monday that they've agreed to terms on a two-year contract worth $8 million ($4 million AAV) with forward Jake DeBrusk.

DeBrusk, 25, requested a trade away from the Boston Bruins back in the fall, but nothing has materialized as of yet. It's still possible that the Bruins trade DeBrusk, now they his $4.1 million qualifying offer this summer has been erased.

In 57 games this season, the Edmonton (Alberta) native has 26 points (fifteen goals, eleven assists), eight penalty minutes, and is a minus-three.

Meanwhile, the Ottawa Senators have signed netminder Anton Forsberg to a three-year, $8.25M contract extension. The contract has an average annual value of $2.75 million and includes the following breakdown: $2.55M in 2022-23, $2.95M in 2023-24 and $2.75M in 2024-25.

The Arizona Coyotes have signed a new deal with goaltender Karel Vejmelka. It carries an AAV of $2.725 million.
