The Dallas Stars goaltending carousal kept spinning on Sunday. Prior to their game against Washington today, it was announced that Braden Holtby is out with a lower-body injury. Then earlier in the week the team said that Anton Khudobin would miss up to six months following hip surgery.

Now, with the Stars in the hunt for the playoffs, they've gone and added some veteran goaltending to put behind Jake Oettinger.

According to Kevin Weekes of ESPN, the Stars have acquired Scott Wedgewood from the Arizona Coyotes in exchange for a conditional fourth round pick in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft.

Wedgewood, 29, started the season with the New Jersey Devils before being claimed off waivers from Arizona in early-November. In 26 games with the Coyotes, he had a record of 10-12-2 with a 3.16 GAA, and a .911 save percentage.
